Richard Noll’s new CD, Peaceful Being, would be a terrific companion piece for reading Blake’s “Songs of Innocence.” With only a handful of instruments and voices he invokes (with a little help from his equally gifted wife Shaina) a multi-colored world of simple delights, textures and harmonies. It’s an invitation to surrender the mind’s busy chatter and partake of the loveliness that both surrounds and dwells within us.
